Types of Miniature and Exotic Pet Pigs...

______________________________________________

There are potbelly pigs that you get form proven, reputable breeders and the there are the others. Make sure you know the difference or you will likely be making a sad trip to a rescue group or slaughter house. If you go to a good breeder you will find a reasonably clean odorless environment. Where pigs are not overcrowded in a stinking, messy small pen. The reality is that If you buy from a place that gives you a bad feeling where pigs are poorly cared for then you should question what you are supporting.

Pigs should appear to be happy, healthy, and have an ample area to root and roam about. You should be able to see the adult breeders and preferably those that are parents of the litter from which you are buying. Remember, outdoor breeders will not look as clean and well groomed as indoor pets but they still should not appear to be in foul or unhealthy circumstances.

When breeding our pigs we like to insure that there are happy homes available ahead of time. Therefore deposits are non refundable. However they are transferable and may be used on a future litter if necessary.

Here's a photo showing the average size of our Miniature Vietnamese Potbelly Piggies. These two pigs are the parents of Winslow, one of our breeding males. Babies are hand raised and will be very tame and trainable.

Deposits before birth do not guarantee that you will have a pig on a certain date but that you will have one from one of our upcoming litters.
